It's a liquid so in theory is absorbed by the body better than a pill. It's called floradix and you can find it in most health food stores.Sandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14707397242079245395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-508691559674427758.post-14798958316527986182011-03-10T10:17:27.022-08:002011-03-10T10:17:27.022-08:00I was skeptical too, but thought that I would at l...I was skeptical too, but thought that I would at least mention the anecdote.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02709289638341809885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-508691559674427758.post-69183849602708412452011-03-08T12:15:16.668-08:002011-03-08T12:15:16.668-08:00That's very strange, because I don't see h...That's very strange, because I don't see how too much spinach could cause anyone's iron to be too high. According to published numbers, spinach has only 1 mg iron per cup (raw), and that is typically bound up by tannins and phytic and oxalic acids. You'd have to eat at least 10 cups of spinach every day with iron absorption enhancers to even reach your RDA.Melissa Officinalishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00450968156346589731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-508691559674427758.post-52328755928639697172011-03-02T17:00:45.394-08:002011-03-02T17:00:45.394-08:00No one piped up on this one? She knew someone who was eating TOO MUCH spinach, and her iron was too high.

I imagine that you should be able to modify your food sufficiently to get all the iron you need. Goes with that "no need for industrial goop" issue that I also agree with you: Eat Food, people!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02709289638341809885noreply@blogger.com
